Chapter One: Introduction
1.1 Background of the Study
Deforestation poses significant environmental and socio-economic challenges, including loss of biodiversity and climate change. In Misau LGA, Bauchi State, deforestation is driven by logging, agricultural expansion, and fuelwood collection. Public relations (PR) can play a key role in raising awareness, influencing behavioral change, and advocating for sustainable practices.
